WARDELL GRAY Memorial – Volume One (Rare 1957 UK12-track mono LP on Esquire with flat edge & ‘RVG’ [Rudy VanGelder] etched in the run-out, otherwise known as ‘The ThinMan’, featuring historic recordings that date from 1949 to1953. Comes housed in a unique fully laminated flipbacksleeve with superb artwork by Diz Disley. The delicate sleeve[VG] has survived the fifties & shows crease marks from ringwear and small split to bottom edge. The heavyweight viny lisclean & in Excellent condition with just the occasional faintpaper hairline scuff not affecting play. Deserving of anymodern jazz collection)
